Every story here is proof that God still breaks chains.
From darkness to deliverance, from shame to strength, each testimony declares that the same God who redeemed one life can redeem another.
These are not stories of perfect people, but of a perfect Savior.
To God be the glory.
When the Chains Break Quietly
It didn’t happen with thunder or spotlight, it happened in silence.
In a moment of surrender, I finally let go of what had kept me bound for years. The Lord broke the chains I had learned to live with, one link at a time.
Through tears, repentance, and grace, He replaced shame with peace, and addiction with purpose.
Now I stand free — not because I am strong, but because He is faithful.
– Stephen Murrin, Founder of Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
— Psalm 40 : 2

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV
From Shame to Surrender
In the quiet battle between conviction and comfort, surrender is where freedom begins.
It wasn’t shame that changed me — it was mercy.
When I finally stopped trying to manage my sin and instead confessed it, God met me in the ashes with grace that didn’t condemn but restored.
Every man must come to that point — the breaking where self dies and Christ reigns.
“A broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.”
— Psalm 51 : 17
Isaiah 61 – The Mandate of Freedom
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives…” – Isaiah 61:1 (KJV)

This passage has become the heartbeat of Nineveh Ninety-Nine Ministries. It’s the banner over every story told here.
We believe Isaiah 61 isn’t just ancient prophecy, it’s a living commission. It calls us to go where others fear to go, to bind wounds that few are willing to touch, and to proclaim that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead still brings healing today.
When you read these stories, you’re witnessing Isaiah 61 come alive: the captives set free, the mourners comforted, the ruins rebuilt.
To God be the glory.
